MEMBERS of Maidstone Hockey Club are holding their very own South Park Party on Saturday, September 6, to celebrate their 125th anniversary.

The fun starts at 11am at their headquarters in Armstrong Road where celebrity cricketers from local side Lashings will be the main attraction.

There will be huge inflatables including human table football, the fly wall, horizontal bungee and a bouncy castle.

Sponsors' bars, stalls and exhibition hockey games are all included in the free fun day before the 5pm finish.

Club secretary Kirtsy Hotson said: “This is going to be a great day's entertainment for all the family. Our club is a town institution, having been established far longer than most sports clubs in Maidstone.

“We organised this so everyone can come along and mark this special day in our history. The beer will be flowing, there will be celebrities to talk to and hockey to watch so we hope many people will come down and be part of it.”
