Maidstone: Hermitage Lane, Barming, reopened after two-car crash

Heritage Lane has re-opened following a two-car crash at the junction of Barming train station.
The road was closed both ways for six hours causing travel chaos after the incident which took place just after 8.30am.
Heavy traffic built up after the accident affecting access to the Maidstone hospital.
The incident took place at just after 8.30am near the junction of Barming train station.
A police spokesman confirmed: "We were called following a collision involving a van and a car in Hermitage Lane (B2246), Barming.
"The incident was close to the junction for Barming train station. The road is currently blocked and there is also an oil spillage from one of the vehicles."
Nobody received life threatening injuries. People were treated at the scene.
