A LORRY driver died when his vehicle crashed and overturned on the M20 between Ashford and Hollingbourne, near Maidstone.
The lorry, carrying cement powder, ploughed into the central reservation and overturned between junctions eight and nine on the coastbound carriageway.
The tragedy happened on the stretch of motorway near Charing early on Friday morning.
Kent Police said the cement powder has been spilt across the road. Heavy lifting gear was brought in to remove the lorry.
No details of the lorry driver have been released but police have confirmed the vehicle was not registered in the UK.
