Nominations are invited for your unsung heroes of hospitals in Maidstone and Pembury
11:00, 06 October 2014
They’re heroes to many of us but do you know someone at our local hospitals has gone the extra mile for you or your loved ones?
Last year’s Kent Messenger Hospital Hero award, part of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust’s Staff Star annual awards scheme, went to a consultant and his team caring for cancer patients at Maidstone Hospital.
Consultant clinical oncologist Dr Russell Burcombe and his team were put forward by readers who had been treated and cared for by them.
If you know someone who you think deserves the award this year, let us know. You can put forward individuals or teams, and they can be staff or volunteers.
Nominate via email to messengernews@thekmgroup.co.uk by Monday, October 20.
You can also write to us at Hospital Hero award, Kent Messenger, 6 & 7 Middle Row, Maidstone, ME14 4TG.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Friday, November 21.
