Fresh from performing a set at a town's nightclub, Golden Globe-winning actor and DJ Idris Elba found the time for pose for photos.
Two volunteers at the Urban Blue Bus in Maidstone revealed they gently collared the star as he was heading back to his car.
Emma Honey, who is pictured with fellow volunteer Dom Gratwick, said he was only too happy to oblige for a picture, describing the actor as 'really nice.'
The Luther star returned to County Town to perform at The Source Bar last night. It followed a similar gig when 1,000 people packed out the venue for a12-hour long street party in 2019
Source Bar's events manager, Ellie Foreshaw, said the move was part of making Kent a destination spot for visitors, rather than just hosting nights aimed at locals.
The prime-time TV drama star has also had huge success with Netflix film The Harder They Fall, which premiered last month on the streaming platform.
This weekend sources revealed the actor is in talks to take on the role of a James Bond baddie in the next movie. Elba had been tipped to take on the role of 007 himself.
The Urban Blue Bus is staffed by volunteers on nights in Maidstone, having been launched in 2009 to make the County Town safer.
Volunteers perform medical treatment and also work closely with door staff and police during busy evenings.
Ms Honey said: "Last night was really busy in town and we'd stayed beyond our shift end as there were large crowds near Source Bar, so it was lovely to get to meet him right at the end of the night."
