Quick-thinking security stopped a potential traveller encampment yesterday with the help of a JCB.
Two adults accompanied by children tried to gain access to Kent House in Romney Place, Maidstone at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
The travellers left without issue after they were asked to leave by security.
Teams then parked a JCB at one of the building site's entrances, while a car blocked the second entrance.
Kent Police were made aware of the incident but with the situation over, no officers were sent to the scene.
Both vehicles had moved by Monday morning.
