Maidstone born sound designer up for Bafta

A Maidstone-born sound designer will be among a host famous faces at tonight's Baftas.
Julian Slater has been nominated in the best sound category for his work on Baby Driver.
The Edgar Wright film received praise for its soundtrack upon its release in June last year.
Mr Slater, who has previously worked on films including Mad Max: Fury Road and Scott Pilgrim vs the World, is facing competitions from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk and The Shape of Water.
The 36-year-old's work on Baby Driver has also been nominated for an Academy Award for best sound mixing.
The Baftas will be aired on BBCOne from 9pm to 11pm.
