Someone in Kent is £1m richer today after winning the Lotto Millionaire Raffle - without even going out to buy a ticket.
The lucky man known only as Mr R scooped the life-changing prize in the interactive Lotto draw on Wednesday, September 12.
He played Lotto through national-lottery.co.uk but has decided to keep his identity secret.
Andy Carter of the National Lottery, said: “Huge congratulations to Mr. R for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. After a few simple clicks he has become a millionaire. With many people leading busy lives, playing online is becoming increasingly popular. It means you can make sure your lucky numbers are always in the draw and your ticket is always checked.”
If you play interactively, your numbers are checked for you and you are also notified when you have won, receiving the good news via email.
At national-lottery.co.uk, players can buy tickets for all of the National Lottery’s draw-based games including Lotto, EuroMillions and Thunderball. Once they have registered and set up an account, they can also play a range of online Instant Win Games.
Lotto Millionaire Raffle guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw.
