Men due in court on drug supplying charges after being arrested in Melville Road, Maidstone

A knife, heroin and cash were seized from a pair of suspected drug dealers who were charged after officers detained them in Maidstone.
At around 12.30pm on Thursday, officers from Kent Police’s county line and gang team stopped two men in Melville Road they suspected were involved in the supply of Class A drugs. Both were arrested and taken into custody.
Officers also seized four mobile phones, twelve heroin deals, some herbal cannabis, a knife and a quantity of cash.
Reagen Corbin and Matthew Haslam, both from the Manchester area but currently of no fixed address, were later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of ketamine and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Mr Haslam was also charged with possessing a knife in a public place and Mr Corbin was further charged with one count of possessing cannabis.
Mr Corbin, aged 22, and Mr Haslam, aged 20, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday) where they were remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court next month.
