A large conifer tree, two sheds and a fence were set on fire by an out of control bonfire.
Emergency crews were at Sycamore Crescent in Maidstone just after midday. Teams in two fire engines were sent.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service says the cause is believed to be accidental.
It has urged people having bonfires to make sure they are built safely and that they are watched at all times.
Crews left the scene just before 1pm.
