Lightning strikes Kent tourist

A TOURIST from Kent is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by lightning at a Cumbrian beauty spot.
The 32-year-old man, from the Maidstone area, was visiting the Castlerigg Stone Circle in Keswick with relatives when he was hit by the bolt.
He was airlifted yesterday afternoon to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle where he remains in a critical condition today. He has not yet been named.
