Arrest after lorry driver assaulted at Maidstone Motorway Services on the M20

A motorist has been arrested after a truck driver was allegedly assaulted at a service station.
The incident happened in the lorry parking area of the Roadchef motorway services off junction 8 of the M20, near Maidstone.
Police were called just before 10pm on Thursday February 29.
During the incident it is alleged the driver of a lorry was assaulted by a car driver following an earlier traffic incident on the motorway.
He suffered swelling and bruises to his face and upper body.
A 55-year-old man was later arrested at a Maidstone address and has been released on bail until May 29.
