Lorry driver dies and teenager seriously hurt in crash and hit and run on M20 between j7 and 6

A lorry driver has died and a teenager has been left seriously hurt after a crash and apparent "hit and run" on the M20.
The HGV collided with a black Vauxhal Corsa between junction 7 and 6 on the London-bound carriageway at 2am.
The 19-year-old driver of the Corsa then got out of his vehicle, but was hit by another car which failed to stop.
It is not known if the driver was aware they had hit something before driving off.
The 44-year-old Polish trucker then suffered a heart attack at the wheel. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police, three ambulances, one paramedic car and the air ambulance were called.
Medics treated the teenager for a serious leg injury before taking him to King's College Hospital in London by road, accompanied by members of the air ambulance crew.
Police have now issued an appeal for witnesses to the incidents, which left the London-bound carriageway closed for eight hours.
Lanes three and four opened at 9.30am and the other two lanes were clear by 9.45am.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Scott Lynch said: "We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident who has not already spoken to police.
"We would also particularly like to hear from the driver of the dark-coloured vehicle that collided with the man and failed to stop. Their vehicle is likely to have suffered significant front-end damage."
The closure caused queues stretching back seven miles at one point, with jams also affecting surrounding roads throughout rush hour.
A 25-mile diversion was put in place via the A249 to Sittingbourne, and M2 London-bound, causing severe congestion in parts of Maidstone and Sittingbourne.
Anyone with information is asked to call the serious collision investigation unit on 01622 798538 quoting reference 18-0075 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk.
