Part of the M20 will be closed for three nights for roadworks.
The closure will affect the coast-bound carriageway between junctions 6 and 7 each night between 8pm until 6am from today until Thursday.
The road will finally re-open on Thursday morning at 6am.
Highways England have put in place a signed diversion. However, drivers will have to contend with a 24 mile long journey instead of the usual six and a half.
Traffic will be directed off the M20 at junction four onto the A228 before joining the M2.
The diversion route then continues on to exit the M2 at Junction five and heads south on the A249 where it rejoins the M20.
The closure is to allow for resurfacing.
