Part of a busy motorway will close for the next week as part of planned maintenance.
National Highways is carrying out repairs to the M20 between Junction 6 for Blue Bell Hill and Junction 5 for Aylesford.
It means the London-bound distributor lane between the junctions won’t be accessible from 8pm until 6am each day from tonight until the morning of Thursday, March 28.
The motorway's main carriageway will remain open as usual, with a diversion in place via the coast-bound stretch to Junction 7 and back to join the London-bound carriageway.
Several improvements are being carried out on the road while it closes.
The motorway watchdog says one of the upgrades includes repairing bridge joints which are "critical to maintaining and improving safety".
Other improvements on the stretch are for re-waterproofing and barrier repair. National Highways says the work will remain ongoing for up to two months.
The company says more information will be provided about its next phase of works during April in the coming weeks, but will temporarily stop over the Easter bank holiday weekend at the end of the month.
