Maidstone United boss Jay Saunders continues to rebuild his squad for Ryman League Division 1 South

Maidstone United manager Jay Saunders is continuing to rebuild his squad ahead of the new Ryman League Division 1 South campaign.
Alex Flisher has joined Colin Richmond and Ellis Green in committing to the club, while under-contract Tom Mills will stay despite Stones’ relegation.
Saunders (pictured) said: "Alex gives us a great attacking balance as he is a naturally left-sided player. He will replicate exactly what Ellis does on the right flank – namely pace, strength, quality delivery and goals."
However, Andy Walker, Dan Stubbs, Simon Glover, Jay May, Gary Wharton and Michael Phillips are yet to commit themselves, while Nathan Paul is still to confirm his plans.
Saunders said: "I totally understand people wanting to have a look around. We’re looking around, too.
"We are talking to a lot of players at the moment and getting close with a few, but we’ve not got anything sealed."
Saunders, however, cooled speculation he was interested in former Dover and Welling stopper John Whitehouse, should Walker not return.
