Maidstone: Aylesford man arrested in St Peter's Street after being stopped by police

A man was arrested after being stopped by police in Maidstone town centre in the early hours of this morning.
Officers stopped the vehicle in St Peter's Street and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of possession of cannabis and driving whilst unfit through drugs.
The road policing unit used a Drugwipe test on the Aylesford man.
He remains in custody.
