Faversham man, 36, arrested after police chase through Kingswood, Maidstone.

A man has been arrested after a police chase through a small village.
The 36-year-old, from Faversham, was taken into custody yesterday, shortly after 10.20pm, on suspicion of being equipped for theft.
Officers had followed a suspicious vehicle through Kingswood, Maidstone, before it came to a stop in Lenham Road, near to the junction with Chartway Street.
A second suspect, who was driving the vehicle, ran off from the scene.
Patrols searched the area with the help of the force helicopter and sniffer dogs but the motorist was not found.
The investigation is ongoing.
