Police are urging people to come forward if they have information on an assault which left a man with cracked ribs and a fractured jaw.
The 31-year-old is believed to have been attacked at the junction of Camden Road and the pedestrianised stretch of Calverley Road in Tunbridge Wells on Friday, November 15.
The incident happened at about 4am and received a call from a member of the public who said they saw the man had been talking with another male, before second man head-butted the victim – causing him to fall to the floor.
Investigating officer DC Laura Keeble said: “A witness was initially spoken to by officers at the scene. He described seeing a skinny white male, around 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a blue puffer jacket with a grey hooded top underneath, and blue jeans.
“The victim has very little recollection of the incident at all but we are confident there will be others who were in the area who saw what happened.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact DC Keeble at Tonbridge Police Station on 01732 379146 quoting incident YY/22980/13.
