A man has been charged following a drug bust at a site off the A249.
A huge police presence was seen on the Maidstone bound carriageway between the Stockbury Flyover and Detling Hill.
Three men were arrested during the operation which took place yesterday morning.
Jordan Greenwood, 25, of Longton Manor, Stockbury was charged today with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
He appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he was remanded on conditional bail.
He will go to Woolwich Crown Court on a date which is yet to be decided.
He was released under investigation pending further inquiries for theft of a motor vehicle.
Two other men, a 21-year-old and a 30-year-old, have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Drivers faced delays during the Met Police led operation with one motorist claiming they had counted 34 vehicles.
During the bust, which is linked to an ongoing investigation into drug supply, officers seized imitation firearms, a stolen van and cash, Class A drugs and a Taser.
