A homeless man is due to appear in court accused of burgling a home in Maidstone.
Benjamin Cooke, 31, was arrested yesterday. He is alleged to have broken into a property in Cambridge Crescent on Tuesday, September 26 and taking a handbag.
He has also been charged with a theft of alcohol from Sainsbury's in Romney Place on Sunday, October 15.
Cooke was bailed to appear before Maidstone Magistrates Court on Friday, November 17.
