Charles Traverso, 43, charged with burglary at shop in Union Street, Maidstone

A man has been charged with burglary after an early morning break-in.
Charles Traverso, 43, of no fixed address was charged after reports of an intruder at a shop in Union Street, Maidstone, yesterday.
Officers went to the store at 2.45am and located Traverso close to the scene after they discovered a rear door had been forced open to gain entry.
Cash, cigarettes and alcohol were reported stolen from the scene.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court earlier today.
