Man hit by train near West Malling train station

Police are today working to identifiy a man who died when he was hit by a train near West Malling station.
Officers from Kent Police and the British Transport Police were called at just after 3.30pm yesterday when someone was struck by a train.
Ambulance crews also attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A file is being prepared for the coroner, but the circumstances of the man's death are not thought to be suspicious.

Southeastern said Go Coach had put on replacement buses as trains were cancelled.
A BTP spokesman said: "The incident was also attended by Kent Police officers and is currently being treated as non-suspicious."
