Maidstone: Man charged with refusing breath test after crash on A249 at Detling

A man has been charged with refusing to take a breath test following a crash which closed the A249 at Detling.
The collision happened on the southbound carriageway around 10.20pm on Friday and caused long delays until about 1am.
Bright Philips of Alma Road, Enfield, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
The 34-year-old will appear before magistrates on Friday, December 2.
