A man has fallen on the tracks at a railway station after suffering from an epileptic seizure.
A spokesman for Southeastern confirmed the passenger fell from the platform onto the line at Maidstone East at around 8am.
Thankfully, the commuter, who is in his 30s, landed away from the high voltage rail.
Engineers quickly turned off the power and called for an ambulance.
A train approaching the Ashford-bound platform managed to stop just in time.
Witness Roxanne Hoare-Smith, from Loose, had just boarded the service to London's Victoria when she saw the man fall on the opposite side of the station.
The 21-year-old said: "It all happened so quickly. He sort of flipped and landed on the track. He was just lying there.
"People were screaming and shouting at the train to stop.
"One man in a high visibility jacket jumped down to help him and then another person helped when the train stopped. I really hope he's okay."
Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended and helped the patient to safety.
The man was treated the scene by South East Coast Ambulance and was then taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury.
Two services were delayed by the accident until the power was turned back on at around 8.30am.
