Injured man airlifted to London hospital after being found with head injuries in Romney Place, Maidstone

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being found with head injuries in Maidstone town centre this morning.
Police were called to Romney Place in Maidstone shortly after 7am to reports of a man being being discovered with head injuries.
Detectives have been at the scene trying to establish the possible causes which are as yet unknown.
The victim was airlifted to a London hospital by a helicopter which landed in the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket car park.
The injured man is believed to be in his 30s.
