A man has been cut free from his car early today after a crash with a parked lorry.
The 33-year-old driver suffered injuries to his head, chest and abdomen in the smash near Hill Crescent, in Lenham, Maidstone, this morning.
The Kent Air Ambulance, which sent a road crew, said the other vehicle was stationary.
Emergency services were called to the scene, which is close to where the A20 Ashford Road meets Faversham Road, at 5.20am.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to remove the door and roof of the vehicle.
The casualty was taken to hospital to King's College Hospital in London.
The A20 was closed but re-opened at just after 6.40am.
