A 30-year-old has appeared in court after breaching his sexual offences prevention order (SOPO).
Jamie Lee Stevens, of no fixed address, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of committing the breach on Wednesday in Maidstone.
Stevens appeared before magistrates in Maidstone this morning, and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on a date to be confirmed.
Last month the 30-year-old appeared at magistrates on suspicion of twice breaching the same order, but this case was later dropped.
The SOPO means he must wear at least one layer of clothing over his pants at all times, unless in a swimming pool where he must wear trunks; cannot urinate in a public place or a private place if visible to passersby; cannot loiter in alleyways; and cannot enter beyond boundaries of private residences without the permission of the owner.
