Man in court over two armed robberies

A 39-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with two armed robberies in the county.
Mark Dalligan is accused of robbing a Securicor van at the M20 service station, Hollingbourne, in January when about £55,000 was stolen.
He is also charged with robbing a Securitas van at the Asda store in Ashford in April when about £75,000 was stolen.
In that incident a member of the public was shot at and injured.
Dalligan, of Shooters Hill, S.E. London, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on Saturday. He was remanded in custody to reappear on Friday, July 21.
