Man hit by car in Willington Street, Maidstone

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
The collision happened in Willington Street near the junction with Ashford Road in Maidstone at around 5.51am today (May 1).
Police and paramedics were called and a man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
His condition is not yet known.
The road remains open.
