Phone stolen in alleged mugging in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone

Officers and paramedics were called to reports of a mugging last night.
The victim said he had been assaulted by a man he did not know in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, who then stole his phone.
The incident is said to have happened near the junction with Western Road at around 8.20pm.
Neighbour Andy Fraser said police were door-knocking in the area afterwards to see if anyone heard anything.
The emergency services left around midnight.
