Man hit by car in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone

A man was struck by a car in Maidstone town centre last night.
The 28-year-old was struck by the vehicle in Upper Stone Street at about 9.25pm.
His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed while emergency services attended. It reopened just before 11pm.
