Man taken to hospital after Bearsted house fire

A man has been taken to hospital after a fire ripped through his home early this morning.
Four fire engines were called to a semi-detached house in Lenside Drive, Maidstone at 3.40am.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus spent nearly two hours putting out the blaze.
A man that was out of the property when firefighters arrived has been taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire being investigated.
