Two hurt and two arrested after altercation in Rose Yard, Maidstone

A man was taken to hospital with cuts to his face after being hurt in a town centre.
Police were called at 2.40am this morning following reports of an altercation in the alley at Rose Yard, Maidstone.
Officers attended with paramedics and the man was taken away in an ambulance.
Later, a second mad came forward and reported he was also assaulted during the disturbance.
Neither man's injuries are described as life-threatening.
A 24-year-old man from Reading, Berkshire and a 23-year-old man from west London were arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.
