Police and ambulances called to Week Street junction with Fremlin Walk in Maidstone after man suffers head injury

Emergency services rushed to a busy shopping street this afternoon.
Two police vans, an ambulance and ambulance car were called to Week Street, near the junction with Fremlin Walk at around 12.30pm.
A man, 35, is thought to have fallen, and was being treated for a head injury.
Officers were seen cleaning up patches of blood from the accident.
The patient was taken to Maidstone District Hospital for further assessment.
