A WOMAN whose disappearance sparked a large-scale search involving a helicopter and police dogs has been found wandering in a country park.
Tina Ambrose, 49, a mother of two and a mobile hairdresser, from Lenham near Maidstone, went missing last Thursday.
Det Insp Barry Knott, of Kent Police, said she "popped out of the woods" and was found by a member of the public in Holly Hill Country Park at Snodland, near Rochester, on Monday.
He added: "She has not eaten or drunk properly and is bruised, battered distressed and very confused. The family are very, very pleased she has been found. They were starting to fear the worst."
