A TEENAGE girl who disappeared from her home has been found safe and well. Kirsty Olive, 13, was found in Maidstone town centre more than a week after she went missing.
The youngster had been last seen at her home in Lenham Heath Road, Sandway, near Maidstone, on Saturday June 12.
Police were particularly concerned for her welfare because of her age and the fact that she was carrying only a very small amount of money with her when she vanished.
Police spokeswoman Gianna Pollero said it was unclear why the youngster had run away.
"We would not pressure her to talk to us if she did not want to," she added.
