Three students and a member of staff have now tested positive for coronavirus at a Maidstone school.
Parents were alerted that an employee at The Maplesden Noakes School had caught the virus on Sunday, and then informed a Year 8 pupil had also tested positive on Tuesday.
All Year 8s were sent home to self-isolate until Friday, October 23.
However, in an email to parents this morning, the academy, in Buckland Road, said two more students had tested positive.
It's not known which year group they are in, but children who have been in close contact with the students are now self-isolating.
The email read: "We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.
"This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child. Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness."
