M20 crash kills Yorkshire motorcyclist near Junction 8 for Maidstone Services

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the M20.
Police closed part of the M20 near Junction 8 for Maidstone Services on Sunday afternoon.
A black motorcycle and a white lorry collided on the London-bound carriageway at around 1.20pm.
The motorcyclist, a Yorkshire man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed.
The M20 was closed for more than six hours to allow officers to carry out forensic work at the scene.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either of the vehicles in the moments before it occurred.
They are also asking drivers to check dash cams which may assist the investigation.
