A murder investigation is under way this morning after a man was 'stabbed to death' during a disturbance.
Two men have been arrested after police were called to a home in Cambridge Crescent on the Shepway estate in Maidstone at around 9.15pm.
Police spokesman Natalie Hardy said: "Officers and the paramedics attended. An investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident has been launched by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate and two men, who were known to the victim, have been arrested."
The incident is thought to have happened in a flat behind Shepway shops.
Witnesses said the man was stabbed to death, although this is yet to be confirmed by police.
The air ambulance was sent but the victim's injuries were so severe that he could not be saved and was declared dead at the scene.
