The sister of a man found dead on a Kent beach has thanked the strangers who visited the site to lay flowers in his memory.
Robin Glue, who was in his 30s, passed away on Sunday, August 1 at Sunny Sands Beach in Folkestone.
He was found by a member of the public shortly after 8.20am.
Mr Glue lived in Maidstone and officers say no suspicious circumstances have been identified.
In a bid to find out more about what happened to her brother, his older sister, Jess Glue from Lincolnshire, put out a plea for information on a public group for Folkestone on social media.
Taking to Facebook she said: "Please can anyone help me find out the information about the body found on the beach, it's my brother.
"I've been desperately trying to find out any information please if anyone has anything, or knows anything, about what happened please private message me.
"Thank you to all for your kind words and help.
"I've managed to get a picture of where he was found and left us and that means so much to my family.
"To the strangers who are going to lay flowers tomorrow, I can't thank you enough from the bottom of our hearts."
An eyewitness told KentOnline the beach had been cordoned off with several emergency services vehicles present.
The tragic find was made on rocks towards Cobbs Point.
