New plea after shovel attack

POLICE have made a fresh appeal for information about an assault in which a 25-year-old man was assaulted with a shovel.
The incident occurred on August 28 in Week Street, Maidstone. Police believe the man was struck over the head following an argument with another man. He suffered cuts to the head.
Police have released a description of the offender. He is white, aged 20 to 25, 5ft 8ft tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing dark jeans or trousers and a white t-shirt with an emblem or writing on it.
It is believed he made off from the scene in a car, with another man in the passenger seat.
