Kent Police arrest three men at Morrisons car park in Sutton Road, Maidstone

Two off-duty police officers and a member of the public helped arrest three men on suspicion of theft in a supermarket car park.
It happened on Sutton Road, Maidstone, on Tuesday with a quantity of suspected stolen electrical items from the back of a Ford Fiesta.
Two constables in an unmarked police car followed the Fiesta into Morrisons car park at around 3pm.
Two men quickly left and were followed by the officers who tried to stop them to do a search.
When one of the suspects became agitated, two off-duty officers and a member of the public came to the officers' assistance.
A third suspect, who had remained in the vehicle, was also detained.
A spokesman said: "The three men, aged 59, 46, and 45, were arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen property."
They have since been released, pending further enquires.
Police say the value of the suspected stolen items is unknown at present.
