Officers injured in police van crash near Aldi in Wheeler Street, Maidstone

Two police officers were taken to hospital after a town centre crash.
The collision involved two vehicles, one of which was a Kent Police van, in Wheeler Street, Maidstone.
Police said the incident happened at 7.52pm yesterday (Saturday).
A spokesman for the force confirmed two police officers suffered injuries in the incident and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
He added: "No serious injuries were sustained by the occupant of the other vehicle."
The officers' injuries are not believed to be serious.
The road was reopened at around 1.30am on Sunday.
