A lorry driver has been given an on-the-spot fine and points on his licence after officers targeted HGVs in an operation on the M20 earlier today.
Officers from Kent Police's road unit were on the motorway to target any speeding lorry drivers.
While in the Maidstone area they found one foreign lorry driver speeding in a 50mph limit zone between junction 4 for West Malling and junction 5 for Hythe.
The driver was also caught speeding in lane three by the officers, something he is not allowed to do on the motorway.
The lorry driver was not only given the fine, but officers will also add points to his 'ghost licence' which is created for the UK.
