Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free a man trapped in an overturned car after a two-car crash.
Police were forced to close a section of the A20 following the accident in Harrietsham but the road reopened shortly before 9am.
The vehicle flipped at around 6.50am and is still in the Ashford Road at the junction with Hook Lane, near the closure.
Paramedics took the injured man to hospital.
Traffic was diverted through the village and motorists on the M20 were advised to continue along the motorway to avoid delays.
Investigators are unsure what caused the accident.
