Pair charged after thefts from Sainsbury's in Romney Place, Maidstone

Two people have been charged after more than £3,000 worth of food and alcohol was snatched in a spate of supermarket thefts.
The goods were stolen from Sainsbury's in Romney Place, Maidstone, between September 12 and September 21.
On Friday, two men were arrested at the store on suspicion of theft. Officers also seized bottles of spirits and a quantity of foodstuff.
Andre Vasile, 20, and George Matei, 21, both of Lampton Road, Hounslow, London were later charged with three counts of theft; two committed on September 12 and a third on September 25.
Vasile was also charged with a further theft on September 21.
On Saturday, both appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court and were bailed for a hearing at the same court on October 15.
