Pedestrians hit by car near Barming

A driver has handed over his licence after two people were hit by a car near Barming today.
The motorist, who is thought to be elderly, was travelling along the A26 Tonbridge Road near Elmstone Lane when the incident happened.
Police were called to the scene at around 10.15am.
A police spokesman said: "We were called following a report two pedestrians had been in collision with a car.
"One person was injured and was seen by ambluance crews.
"The driver voluntarily handed his licence to police."
The pedestrian's injuries are thought to be minor.
The driver's car was recovered just after 11am.
