Maidstone: Pensioner has cash stolen by bag cutting thieves

Thieves cut open and stole cash from a pensioners bag.
Police are appealing for information after the theft, which happened in King Street Maidstone yesterday - and have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to about the incident.
The victim was standing in a chemist when two men approached him asking questions.
Once they had left, the victim found his bag had been cut open and an envelope containing a large quantity of cash had been stolen.

District commander, chief inspector Ray Quiller said: "We are carrying out a number of inquiries and have identified CCTV images of people we believe may have important information for this investigation.
"I would urge anybody who recognises these men to call our appeal line at the earliest opportunity."
