Air ambulance lands at Maidstone Grammar School to airlift injured person to Tunbridge Wells Hospital

An injured person was airlifted to hospital by the air ambulance earlier today.
The emergency helicopter was launched shortly after 11am and was seen landing in the grounds of Maidstone Grammar School after reports of an individual hurt in an accident at a premises in the Old Tovil Road area of Maidstone.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Trust confirmed the air ambulance was called out.
The injured person was assessed and treated at the scene and has been airlifted to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
Their condition is not known at this stage.
